Cleanliness is next to Godliness

Cleanliness is next to Godliness   “Cleanliness is next to Godliness,” we have been saying this for a long time but have we practiced it in real life? I guess the honest answer would be no. We all know the importance of keeping our environment clean and healthy, but we always fail to act. Here, Vrikshit Foundation has brought a fantastic opportunity for us to serve back to society. It has organized a drive where they need our valuable time to clean our beloved Pink city Jaipur.       Vrikshit Foundation is a Delhi-based organization conducting cleanliness drives, environment protection, and awareness programs. It was started in 2019 and has already spread across 14 states, and recently they have started their activities in Jaipur. Their motive is to create a surrounding where people would love being around. They have successfully cleaned Yamuna bank and also planted 10k trees around the nation and are continuing with their excellent work.  ...

First Aid: A magical life-saving toolbox

First Aid: A magical life-saving toolbox

“Precaution is better than cure,” this quote suggests that a person should take some precautionary measures to save himself from this world of uncertainties. One can face severe injury or illness at any moment of life, which can take worse turns if immediate action is not taken. By providing basic First Aid in severe emergency cases, you can even save a life.

First Aid is primary medical care consisting of initial support items provided to someone in the case of medical urgency. Falls, burns, and accidents are most common emergencies which need urgent care and such incidents can happen at any place whether it is home or workplace. So our campaign Q-Aid is working on such a cause which spreads on first care which should be given at the time of medical emergency.

The letter Q of Q-Aid depicts 3Qs, which significantly contributes to spreading awareness of our motive.

The campaign wants emphasis on the three basic steps to encounter the emergency are:

  1. Always to ready to provide care:

If you find an injured person, comfort him/her, provide basic first Aid and keep them warm. Wait until professional help arrives, as it can be fatal.

2. Call the ambulance, If needed:

If you find the victim deeply wound, call an ambulance at 103 or local medical service. So the immediate actions can be taken at the appropriate time.

3. Always check the danger signs:

Always watch for signs like fire or falling debris; if you find anything, shift yourself to a safe place.

First Aid is not essential that it should be given to others. It can save your life as you avoid yourself from such a situation or not then at least you can face the uncertainties with a brave face by providing yourself the best first medical care.
